This is part eight of our Performance video series, which gives an overview of the Performance capabilities available on ForeFlight’s web application at plan.foreflight.com, including how to set up by-altitude profiles. ForeFlight’s detailed Navlog now provides RAIM prediction for customers on Performance Plus and Business Performance plans. Receiver autonomous integrity monitoring, or RAIM, provides a measure of GPS integrity along a planned route, and checking for possible RAIM outages is required before conducting any flight utilizing a non-WAAS GPS for navigation. RAIM prediction is supported for the continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii.

A new section in the Flights view planning form allows you to select an FBO at your destination airport, making helpful functions and information easily accessible while planning and viewing your flight. The Destination Services tab opens  the familiar ForeFlight Directory list where you can compare all the FBOs at an airport and view additional details like services, photos, comments, and fuel prices. Once you select an FBO, new buttons appear on the planning form to call or email the FBO, find its location in the Apple Maps app, or view its details.

ForeFlight also remembers your selection at every airport where you choose an FBO and automatically selects the same FBO the next time you plan a flight to that airport, saving you time and making useful functions quickly accessible.

Specify elevations for custom waypoints to plan flights to and from them like you would airports, complete with accurate climb and descent performance calculations and depictions in Profile View.

ForeFlight’s Enhanced Weight & Balance capability is now available for all customers, allowing you to more easily create, edit, and plan with your W&B profiles. The new W&B contains features like Standard Weights and Saved Loads to save you time when inputting load information. Migrate legacy W&B profiles or easily set up new ones using our pre-built templates for hundreds of aircraft.

Additionally, with ForeFlight Performance Plus you can integrate your Weight & Balance profiles with Flights, simplifying your preflight workflow and producing more accurate time and fuel calculations.
